This was a project where I created and branded my own restaurant. The menu was the first piece, and then everything else was created and branded based on that. I was going for a casual bar and grill type of restaurant. This concept of a grill was included in the name as well as the logo. I designed the "E" in the word "Grilled" to look like grill marks as well as the boarder around the menu itself.

The branding continued to occur as I explored how a restaurant would truly function in the real world. I put myself in the shoes of someone starting a restaurant from scratch and let my imagination go.

When branding something as major as a restaurant, it is important to remember that people need to be able to identify and connect with this business. There must be parts that invite someone and captivate their attention.
