This project is a continuation in my faceless family portrait series. It was for the same client who wanted the previous portrait with only the three people. This time I had the grandfather and all four of the grandchildren.

Doing this piece was heartwarming for many reasons, but one in particular being that I was able to create something that has never happened in this life or on this earth, which is having this grandfather meet his earthly grandchildren. It was not something I could copy from an existing picture, but rather an image that I had to create and allow to thrive in the real world.
